What can i do about bedwetting? |
please help.i need to stop.my parents wont get me diapers.how do i stop,or where can i get free diapers delivered to me secretly?i cant go to the store alone. Get a job giving golden showers at night - you won't need diapers! How old are you? Your parents shouldn't be denying you medical care and health support. If they are, go tell someone you trust that you need help. speaking from personal experience...most bedwetting is a result of something tramatic that occured during childhood...i wet the bed untill i was 15 and was told by doctors that some pill was supposed to help...it didn't...the best advice i can give you is to not drink anything 2 hours before you go to sleep and use the bathroom before you do...if nothing else...tell your school guidance counsler about it and mabye he/she will be able to help My mother use to wake me up to go to bathroom around 12 or1 am in the mourning. Try that, set up en alarm clock. Yes, You can go to the store alone....How Old Are You??......If you are like over 9 or 10 which it seems your are....you might want to buy the "Depends" that the old granny's wear....hey, it might help!! Good Luck! Tell your parents that this is a really serious problem for you and that they must accompany you to an urologist. If they ignore your cry for help, speak to your teacher or another adult member of your family, like an aunt , grandmother or elder sister. Women tend to be more understanding in these situations. It sounds to me that you have a communication problem with your parents and the actual bed wetting could be caused by this. Bedwetting-Let's say you're not the only one who does this and you won't be the last one to, either. A lot of children hide this fact due to the embarassment of the situation. Understandable. Understand this though that bedwetting from infancy is a natural occurrance accept when you were a baby you had diapers. Let me explain something and listen carefully. Your brain receives signals from all parts of your anatomy. Your bladder probably hasn't grown enough to send pressure signals for your brain to automaticly sense that you need to go to the bathroom. For each child it is a different time for him or stop this delima. Usually after the parent or the child gets over the emotional delima of it and tinctal passage of time for child this will stop. Until then it's a waiting game. Wearing diapers won't stop the bedwetting . It only stops the bed from the urine smell and getting mattress and linen wet. Bladder excercise might speed up the process. Stretching the bladder could possibly help. Just don't take trips to the rest room as much for a little while during the day. This may help. You don't say how old you are. |
