i was not a recepient, but 2 of my very dear friends are living HAPPY AFTER lapband surgery.

They both have lost one person one weighed almost 400 lbs and is now 185 and another was 330 and she weighs 165

I am so jealous. I didnt have it nor did I need it. I took and tried things a different way and that was successful for me.

THEY LOOK WONDERFUL.. and irregardless what other people say - THIS DAY AND AGE- IF YOU FEEL IT IS RIGHT FOR YOU- AND THE DR OK'S IT= i say GOD BLESS if it gives you that push and self esteem u deserve it

My daughters step mother of 17 yrs had a lap band procedure on Oct. 12 th... She died from complications on Oct. 16th. She left behind a 6 yr old son.

yes I have had the surgery, it depends on what stage you are in. first six weeks stay on soft foods, easiest to digest. You should have a dietian that is helping you with this also.
