Does anyone have any personal experience with bariatric surgeries?

Just curious. I have read and heard quite a bit, but those offering the information are usually companies who have something to lose, and cannot be counted on to give true pros and cons.
If you or someone you know has had any of the procedures, please tell me about them and what someone should expect.

Thanks all!

I did not ask about detox diets. I asked about bariatric surgeries. Please, if you don't have any comments on what I am asking, do not answer.
Thank you

I had a friend that had bariatric surgery, she was a fine healthy, happy 33 year old (other then her weight) she had a little boy, a loving husband (that opposed of the surgery) told her all the time that she was beautiful and always very encouraging. But none of this was enough for her...she decided to have the surgery done. She had to go through tons of testing and mental evaluations. She came out of anesthesia...2 days later she was in coma...1 week after her surgery they were planning her funeral. If I were that overweight that I felt the need for the surgery I would do everything in my power to avoid having the surgery, EX: exercise, seeing a nutrionalist, eating properly...but I wouldnt reccomend the surgery to anyone...especially after this. However if you do choose to have it done, Good Luck!!!

u can use detox diets to loose weight .The detox diet focuses on getting rid of the harmful aspects of our everyday diet.detox diets will help u to a great extent to reduce weight and be slim.Instead of eating 2 - 3
meals per day, try eating 4 - 5 small meals per day, or 3 meals and 2 healthy snack meals.
Food substitutions can help tremendously when trying to reduce calories and speed up the metabolism.
