Does Anthem Blue Cross Insurance cover bariatric surgeries?

I've been trying to research it onliny for my mother, but we haven't had the insurance start so I can't access the specific site. Does anyone know or know a place to access that info? Thanks

I have Blue Cross Blue Sheild of North Carolina (NC state health plan for employees) and they cover it for us... we need to get approval.

you need to call the 1-800 ## on the back of your card to get specific info.

The reason you need to call, is because insurance companies have a lot of plans for people and you might not be able to find info online specific to you.
