Has anyone had or is considering having bariatric surgery? |
please do not answer if you are not serious and can't be of help! If the surgery doesn't kill you, you will lose a lot of weight very quickly. You will also suffer many painful side effects. You've just torn out a big chunk of your body. Imagine how you'd feel if you removed one and a half kidneys, leaving only half a kidney left? It would do its best to do its job for your body, but it would be overworked, damage easily, and potentially give out. Similarly, cutting out a lot of your gut and stomach makes it much easier for the rest of it to collapse. i had the surgery 1 1/2 years ago. I was 300lbs and now I am 160 lbs. I had diabetes type II for near 20 years and was using 5 tablets daily. Also I was taking other 5 tablets for high blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. After the operation I didn't take medicine, I only take vitamins. The quality of life change dramatically for better. I have more energy and is more easy to perform the daily activities. |
