Has anyone had the Bariatric surgery and wished they never?What bad thing happened to you?

I haven't had it yet. I wanted to get it, but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen.
I met a woman a couple of years ago who had had a bypass. She was pregnant and extremely sick, as was her fetus, because she couldn't eat enough. I was in a store and I commented on this lady's tattoo, as I have a similar one, and she said she got it when she got her surgery, and then she started crying (in the middle of a store, to a stranger) and telling me this story.
However, my close friend who had it, even though she was sick the first month or so, said she would do it again in a heartbeat. She has a lap-band.
