Orthorexia Nervosa?

The futuristic form of an eating disorder when your obsessed w/ eating only healthy foods. Some orthorexics may exclude sugar, fats, or carbs. They view foods in black & white (good or bad).

"The signs:
Spending more than three hours a day thinking about healthy food
Planning tomorrow's menu today
Feeling virtuous about what they eat, but not enjoying it much
Continually limiting the number of foods they eat
Experiencing a reduced quality of life or social isolation (because their diet makes it difficult for them to eat anywhere but at home)
Feeling critical of others who do not eat as well they do
Skipping foods they once enjoyed in order to eat the "right" foods
Feeling guilt or self-loathing when they stray from their diet
Feeling in "total" control when they eat the correct diet"

I only eat fruits & veggies. No nuts, starches, grains or breads. No juice hardly & no prossessed sugars. I hate oily, fried foods as well. Am I on a balanced diet?

No. A balanced diet by definition includes foods from every food group. You are missing grains, meat and dairy. You can have a healthy diet without meat but you would have to substitute other protein sources like nuts and beans.

Avoiding fried, oily foods is fine but you need foods from the other food groups.

I would rather bee obese than skinny.

I think humans are omnivores and can do well on a variety of diets. It sounds like an isolated existence but with the internet its alot easier to find people like this.

Your diet sounds just fine to me. I think that you can have an excellent diet without having an eating disorder. I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarain and I don't let my diet run my life. I do think that you should probably add some grains to your diet, to balance things out a bit..
