How long does it take for a person to have bacterial vaginosis for them to become infertile?

I don't think BV (gardinerella bacteria) can make you infertile, but pelvic inflammatory disease, another bacterial infection (usually gonorrhea or chlamydia), can.

That can only be determined if the bacterial vaginosis has caused scarring. Talk with your doctor if you are concerned about becoming infertile.

i dont want to know and dont want to wait that long for that to happen to get it treated
