If you have a lot of blood drawn for testing, could the test also show if you have bacterial vaginosis?

Or is that a seperate test?

I believe they do a swab test to test for that. They should check for it automatically when you go for your pap tests. You dont have to wait a year to get one done. You can go and get it done whenever, it is a good idea to get one done after you are with a new partner. I get one every 6 months to monitor my cells. Hope this helps. they might be able to infer that you have BV. based on high white blood cell counts or something like that. Ask your doctor.

umm I don't believe so. I believe you have to have culture done to detect bacterial vaginosis. And if it is bacterial, the doctor can give you meds to get rid of it.
