Havin fishlike smell durin sex i looked it up as vaginosis & white discharge everyday doc said nuthin wrong.?

i think he is lyin, he has to be, when he did a pap he said there was barely any discharge there but usually its really heavy and need to wear a liner. ive been tryin to get it checked out for about 2 years now at the beginning they gave me diflucan, they said it was yeast, but didnt disappear, then i went back and they gave me sumthin for bacterial vaginosis, still no help and now they say there is nothing wrong but its still there and still smells also during sex i dont get wet like im supposed to its jus the discharge, whats wrong is my doc lyin to me and am i in danger for it lasting this long? thanks for your support.

2 b honest w/ u. I seriously think it's time 4 u 2 get a new doc. I'm not 1 so i can't tell u if it's caused any serious harm 2 urself. Find a doc that has a real med degree, and do it fast. Those r symptoms of chlamydia, and also ghonnarria. Good Luck 2 u.

You could have trichomoniasis. Did you get treated with metro-gel for BV? Also, BV can come back as quickly as you get rid of it. Did your bf get checked out? Do you notice the smell when you use lubricated latex condoms? They can cause the smell also.

if you cannot get a prescription for flagyl or metro-gel to take care of the bacterial vaginosis, then try rephresh. It is an OTC cream that is sold at any drugstore. It is safe to use. All it does is rebalance the ph of the vagina. It works. If all else fails, go to another doctor. The one you are seeing is an idiot for letting this go on for this long.

if you feel your doctor is inefficient go get a second opinion. he has no reason to lie, but his lack of testing is a concern. while a pap is a good start, he needs to test you for std's such as gonnorhea and chlamydia. go to another doctor, at least you will have peace of mind.
