Which if these STI's are curable??

I have to do this chart for homework, which of these are curable?

1.Chlamydia
2.Genital Herpes
3. Genital Warts (HPV)
4. Gonorrhea
5. Hepititis A B and C
6. Trichomonas Vaginitis
7. Molluscum Contagiosum
8. Bacterial Vaginosis
9. Syphilis

1.Chlamydia- cured with antibiotics (but if damage is done to the reproductive tract, that is permanent)
2.Genital Herpes- never cured, have relapses
3. Genital Warts (HPV)- HPV has many types- the strains that don't cause warts are thought to be cleared by the body in time (about two years) in most people. As for the strains that cause warts, I think they are more persistant
4. Gonorrhea- cured with antibiotics
5. Hepititis A B and C- Hep A (spread faecal-orally as opposed to blood borne like B/C) is an acute transient infection. Your body recovers in a couple of months. This can also occur with B/C but most of the time infections with B/C become chronic.
6. Trichomonas Vaginitis - difficult to treat
7. Molluscum Contagiosum- difficult to treat
8. Bacterial Vaginosis- difficult to treat
9. Syphilis- cured with antibiotics (but if damage has occurred, it cannot be reversed)

1,4,6,8,9 not sure about 7

maybe you can ask doctor or online std counselor at this cold sore dating site http://www.STDromance.com

1.Chlamydia - yes
2.Genital Herpes - no
3. Genital Warts (HPV) - no
4. Gonorrhea - yes
5. Hepititis A B and C - no
6. Trichomonas Vaginitis - not sure
7. Molluscum Contagiosum - not sure
8. Bacterial Vaginosis - yes

Genital herpes is NOT cureable.

1.4.6.7.8.9. are but it is possable if 6. and .9. arent treated in the right time syphillis can be treated if caught before it does dammage to vital parts as for.6. it can dammage tubes with in that arent reservable. go to hese sites and type it in .www.cdc. com www.webmd. com

all most all of them are curable but" they are not completely cured".they can remain inactive in very small % for a very very long time.

If you had a history of choosing best answer I would have given you a very clear and thoughtful answer. However, since you don't take the time to choose best answer or no best answer and instead decide to leave your questions up to the voters you don't deserve my time, or anyone else's for that matter. Thanks for the easy 2 points!

Herpes is life long, although a person may not always have outbreaks. HAV is not a STI, HBV is treatable, but 5-10% will become chronic, and 80% of HCV will become chronic, but half of those may be treatable to a level where it will not become life threatening. HPV depending on the strain may or may not be treatable.
