My vagina smells like fish?Help!?

My vagina smells like fish and I have no clue why.No matter what I'm doing I can smell it.I could be sitting down or standing and I can still smell it.I am a virgin so it couldn't be an STD.I take a bath everyday.I've searched questions similar to mine on this site and alot of people say it could be bacterial vaginosis.It could be that but I'm afraid to go to the doctor.What will they do when they test for that? Will they break my hymen when they test for that? I'm afraid what they'll do will hurt.Is there any alternative to dealing with this? Please help me!

it could be bacterial vaginosis, it should not be smelly fishy all the time. maybe you're not cleaning it properly. You should get a feminine wash soap like summer's eve because it takes away the embarrassing odors. if you go to the doctor, he will just take a sample of your discharge and do a culture; this will determine if the bacteria presented is harmless or harmful. They will not break your hymen and it most definitely does not hurt. you barely feel a thing! :)
are you wearing cotton underwear? wear cotton underwear. sleep without underwear at night to let your vagina breath after you take a shower. avoid tight jeans and shorts and tight underwear.
if you are itchy, it could definitely be bacterial vaginosis.try doing what i've suggested above, many people are so quick to jump to conclusions and make you think you're sick when in reality the way your care for you vagina may need to be changed a little. No worries, you're probably fine. if the problem persists, then go to a doctor.
also, have you always smelled like this? or is it just recently?

it sounds as if you have bacterial vaginosis. the only way to get rid of it is with antibiotics. the doctor is going to have to obtain cultures from your vagina. he or she will have to insert a speculum(it clips onto your cervix and it may pinch a little)into your vagina to open it up allowing him or her to see inside. they will then use some swabs to obtains some samples. this may be uncomfortable but hopefullly not painful. you'll probably be crampy afterward.

its just an odor from vaginal hair. try shaving your area, or use hair remover [like NAIR] i just recently found this answer out. [i am 12]

They have a special kind of instrument for virgins so that the hymen doesn't break. The hymen can break for other reasons too such as a fall.

The exam shouldn't hurt but if it does it's either because of being tense, or the infection.

To check for the infection the doctor will take a sample of your discharge and have it sent off to a lab for further analysis. The results come back in about a week.

For first time exams, I recommend that a lady doctor be seen as it is less embarrassing.

it deffinatley sounds like a bacterial infection. nothing serious. just when thres too much bad bacteria around . causes could be not wiping front to back(as it should be) using scented soaps,sprays alot near the vagina. anti biotics are usually given to clear it up.dont worrry tho jus go c ur doc,remember they see things ad deal with things like this every day hun, so dont be embarrased they just doing there job . good luck xx

its really simple... if u like eat junk food and lots of useless junk and fatty food. it will smell bad.. but if u eat healthy and salads and fruits den it will smell good

vinegar n water try dat if dat does not come down n jus go to the doctor but make sure u use a little bit of vinegar

Well,I think you should try Eve.It is a spray which keeps odors away.I saw them at many stores so I think you should try it.
