Bacterial Vaginosis Question..please only serious responces?

I have suffered with bacterial vaginosis for over 4 years now. I have been with the same partner for 13 years. I have spent sooo much money at the gyno trying to get rid of this and nothing is working!!! I've tried all of the antibiotics they have prescribed, switched gynos for second opinions, changed my diet and still no luck!! I've even had cryo surgery. I've been reading up on this and have found alot of women suffer from this and have used a hydrogen peroxide douch and have been successful! Has anyone tried this and has it worked or maybe something else has worked for you? Please let me know what might have helped you!

There is no evidence that peroxide douches help. Did the gynecologists try you on Flagyl 500 mg, or Flagyl ER 750 mg, weekly, to prevent it? Did they treat your partner? Did they do actual vaginal cultures? These are the latest, best steps for recurrent BV.

Get your partner and his other partner treated.

I had BV for a year. the doctors had no answers for why. one doctor even yelled at me that he cant know what is wromg with everybody.

Anyway, i strongly believe that mine was caused from emotional stimuli. I was i love with man who was not good for me and each time i would have sex with him it would come back cause after seeing i would be emotionally broken. It stopped abruptyly when i started seeing a new guy. I swear, the night we were gonna have sex for the first time i was scared that he would spell something and he went down on me a .............. nothing!!!!!!!!! It was gone and its been over a year and i swear, i have had noooooo hint of it. I heard from someone on answers that stress can cause it and i am 100% convinced that caused mine.

Has your doctor ever prescribed flagyll? That's the antibiotic used mostly when treating BV. Also, how often do you douche and why? It's always been my understanding that douching actually washes away good bacteria that you need to fight off bad bacteria.. What type of soap are you using? I too suffered from BV for several years. I had used the same soap as well as detergent for years. Couldn't figure it out. Finally, I found the culprit.. Summers Eve Feminine Wash. Once I stopped using that, I have been BV free for the past 4 years!! Good luck....
