Side Effects from taking HP PAC to treat H. Pylori? |
I got H. Pylori and went on the HP PAC to treat it. One of my symptoms while on it was non-solid stools. It wasn't diarrhea, since my stomach didn't hurt, and it didn't smell, so I fugured it was just because the anti-bacterial medicine was killing ALL the bacteria in my digestive tract, including the good ones that help to process all that stuff in your colon. The yeast infection is caused by taking the antibiotics, the Biaxin in the HP Pac is notorious for causing yeast infections. Treat accordingly with an over the counter product. Your doctor can prescribe Diflucan to treat this as well. |
