Back pain???????????

why would my lower back hurt all the time for about to months

You could be experiencing muscle pain from bending, twisting or lifting something heavy or pain from an injury that displaced a spinal disc in your lumbar spine. Spinal stenosis or a shortened spinal nerve can also cause continuous lower back pain with movement or standing. Osteoarthritis(degenerative joint disease) could also be the cause. Rheumatoid arthritis from gout or inflammation could also be a cause. If the pain radiates down into your thighs, the sciatic nerve could be damaged and contributing to your pain. Your back pain could be the result of any or all of these conditions. You need to consult a general medicine practitioner for a complete physical and diagnosis, followed by a visit to the proper specialist, an orthopedist and/or a neurologist.

I had the same thing & went to a foot doctor & he ordered insoles to be placed in my shoes. After 6 mos of adding support to the insoles, my pain went away . . I hope this helps. For temporary relief, visit a Chiropractor for a back adjustment . .

It sounds like your sacrum as well as lumbar. Do you have pain on the inside and outside of your legs?
