Pain In My Pain and Back?

I started to get severe pain in my hip and my lower back. I ran a mile yesterday morning and walked on an incline on the treadmill. I didn't have the pain until yesterday night. It's very difficult to sit a certain way or get up from the couch. Also, I'm noticing a pain going down my leg and some tingling. Will this pain go away or is this something I need to see the doctor for?

You need to see a doctor. Radiating pain and tingling are serious symptoms that may indicate a nerve injury, not just musculo-skeletal. These are not likely to resolve without treatment. Make an appointment with a specialist (neurologist or orthopedist) who will examine you and give you a proper diagnosis and treatment options.

In the meantime, rest so that you don't do any further damage to your back. Avoid activities that seem to make your symptoms worse. Go the the ER if you experience the tingling and numbness in both legs, have a severe loss of muscle strength in the legs, and/or loose bowel/bladder control (indicating a more serious medical problem).

Good luck.
