One more time i will rewrite question on pain in hands and feet? |
fell twice down stairs..medical history 2 c sections, right kidney removed, k. stones blasted, urniary stents put in. right lumbar herina repair, cervical fusion. thorasic 4,5, 6 and 7 slipped.. i wish i had an answer for you, i feel bad for you, so bad. i have rhuematoid arthritis and fibro . the pain is unbearable at times. i dont know you, but im gonna pray for the sick lady on yahoo answers. *Hugzzzzzzz* These are NOT questions strangers or lay people can answer for you. You seem to have many doctors; please make them aware and have them help you. In addition, for someone in as much pain as you seem to be, percocet is VERY weak and not appropriate for what ails you. Very, very sorry. AND, I think you need to investigate second opinions and different doctors. Also, most of your symptoms haven't anything to do with each other. Get a new neurologist. The medications you list are one painkiller, muscle relaxer and antianxiety, antidepressants and sleeping pills. You might want to consult a psychopharmacologist since none of these are helping you. All your disc probs. can atake a year or to to feel better--I have seveeral disc probs. There is a lot that can be done for your ailments if you seek the right help. Find a PAIN MANAGEMENT center or hospital, etc., in your area as soon as you can. If worse comes to worse, Call the Pain Management center at Cabrini Hospital in NYC. That's where I go. They are the best. Ask for Dr. Gary Thomas, or Dr. Mandelbaum, ttell the receptionist it is an emergency. Ask the dr. what you can do, where you can go, where you live. Best of luck. why were you on the stairs in the first place being that sick. Sound like there is alot going on.U said U fell because your leg and foot went numb, are they numb all of the time?If they are U should probably be treated for nerve damage, the usual treatment for this is Neurontin.I don't know about mixing it with your other meds, your Doctor should make sure they don't interact with one another. If U are retaining fluid(and they know this) U should be taking Lasix-with a prescription it is strong enough to make a difference. My Husband just had a Kidney removed this year(Cancer) his disease was found by test being conducted for his kidney stones.'go figure' Why aren't you asking a doctor these questions or better yet, in a hospital? We don't know everything on here. |
