Please tell me what you know about back injuries. (should l see a doctor?)? |
l either sprained, pulled, strained, or did something to my upper back while lifting wights or boxing(throwing punches). l had the pain in my upper middle back 1 week ago, right when it was healing ,then l went and played football and it got alot worse. Some times it hurts and sometimes it doesen't. also it only hurts when l move it. please tell me what it could be and should l see a doctor, etc thanks alot. You need to see a Chiropractor. There are certain types of Injuries/Damage when you need rest and to releave pressure for a certain ammount of time. either see a doctor, chiropractor or get a massage... If it starts to get better as it did initially then I would have thought you've got nothing to worry about. You may have strained an attachment muscle. These are the small runner muscles that attach the huge slabs of back muscle to the spine. These tend to hurt more when moving the arms, which I would say was most likely caused by throwing punches. Obviously if it doesn't get better see your GP. yes you should go see a doctor you could have more damaged than you think it is just better to have a exam by a doctor than regret it later Yes, you should see a doctor. By complicating things you have made it worse and it will be harder to heal. If its isolated to one side or the other than it is muscular vs skeletal. I'm a huge believer in chiropractors. Though it is muscular in nature there could still be some misalignment of the spine and therefore the continued pain. They can also do a ultrasound which is deep tissue warmth that REALLY helps sore muscles. Try it, I think it will help. Pain meds help but only mask the problem. MDs have a solution for all pain-- pain killing drugs like Vioxx. See this site for info on an advanced form of chiropractic and find one near you. |
