Some times it hurts and sometimes it doesen't. also it only hurts when l move it. please tell me what it could be and should l see a doctor, etc thanks alot.

You need to see a Chiropractor. There are certain types of Injuries/Damage when you need rest and to releave pressure for a certain ammount of time.

If you have something like this and just keep waiting a couple days then playing sports you may have serious permenant problems that could effect your day to day life (sports would be completely out of the question if that happened,.. walking through a grocery store might have you on your knees sobbing).

either see a doctor, chiropractor or get a massage...
my mom really messed up her back at work in a winery and she got massages and it really helped!

If it starts to get better as it did initially then I would have thought you've got nothing to worry about. You may have strained an attachment muscle. These are the small runner muscles that attach the huge slabs of back muscle to the spine. These tend to hurt more when moving the arms, which I would say was most likely caused by throwing punches. Obviously if it doesn't get better see your GP.

yes you should go see a doctor you could have more damaged than you think it is just better to have a exam by a doctor than regret it later

Yes, you should see a doctor. By complicating things you have made it worse and it will be harder to heal.

The doctor can make sure you did not tear a muscle or whatever and can provide muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatory medicine to help with faster healing.

ADDED: the advice to see a Chiropractor is not necessarily good. That profession does not deal with soft tissue injury, which your description seems to indicate, and could actually be harmful for you.

If its isolated to one side or the other than it is muscular vs skeletal. I'm a huge believer in chiropractors. Though it is muscular in nature there could still be some misalignment of the spine and therefore the continued pain. They can also do a ultrasound which is deep tissue warmth that REALLY helps sore muscles. Try it, I think it will help. Pain meds help but only mask the problem.

MDs have a solution for all pain-- pain killing drugs like Vioxx. See this site for info on an advanced form of chiropractic and find one near you.
