Injury to left side and lower back from a 4-wheeler...? |
I was riding on a four wheeler this past weekend and unfortunately had an accident. I was thrown over the handlebars did a flip and landed on my left side and back area. Ever since Sunday I have had a discomfort ,swelling, and bruising from the hard landing. Now, I am a big guy (6'2'', 275 lbs..),what may have occured in terms of my injuries.....I have no broken bones, but the swelling and pain makes it hard to start walking or to be comfortable at all. Sounds like you bruised ribs and maybe you put your back out of wack. My suggestion, go see a chiropractor and see if he can't give you some relief. He may want to let you heal a little before you are seen. If it's bad enough to interfere with your normal life - working, doing chores, sleeping, etc - it's time to go to your doctor. You may have just sprained or bruised everything from the shoulder to the knees, or you may have broken something. It might be time to let a professional find out. |
