Knee injuries how long does it take to heal? |
how long does the knee injury take to heal my friends friend going to have to wear a foot cast for 4 months pleas let me know about knee injuries and what they did for them how do i know if i have a knee injury my left knee sims like it pops once in a while there realy no pain on scale 1-4 its probaly a 2 I broke my left patella (kneecap bone) right across the mid-section. First the doctors said that surgery was necessary, but the morning before the surgery they decided to put the whole leg, ankle to hip, in a full cast . The leg was fully extended pushing the two pieces together, so the two healed without surgery. Of course, each case is unique so this is only my experience. It healed very slowly and I was in that cast for nine months. Physical therapy was required. |
