Minor injuries?


I'm amazed at how many adults recieve "minor injuries". A minor is a young child. Are our A&E full of adults who have scrapped their knees or have pushe lego up their noses. I read about a car crash where the driver recieved minor injuries. What did he get? A chinesse burn??

Minor Injuries can mean anything from cuts and scratches to a closed fracture. Major injuries mean they need surgery or have an open fracture.

Hi a minor yes means a child but monor injuries can be anything from wasp sting to a small cut.Thats why we call them minor as they are not serious injuries.Major injuries are anything from a compound fracture to a amputation off a limb.
