Arthritis and old injuries: connection? |
I'm 41 and I have osteoarthritis on my spine. But I find that an accident on my leg when I was 17, which use to never bother me anymore, is what aches me the most. My leg and my foot, seems to act like a new/recent injury ache. I already know I have osteoarthritis so telling me what I already know doesn't get points. Old injuries suffer all, not only arthritis patients. Does for me.........Dampness and cold really brings on the pain. Yes, there are three kinds of arthritis: Rheumatoid which is caused by a malfunctioning immune system, Osteo which is wear and tear or age and Traumatic which is the result of injury. |
