i had a back injury last yr and they couldnt find anything really wrong. so they sent me to PT. well i never fully got better. and it has been hurting off and on. well lately i have been starting to get bad muscle spasms again. but they dont know what else to do. i have had meds. chiropractors PT massage heat and ice rest xrays etc. and they dont know what else to do. i am afraid that my pain will come back really bad again. and i dont know what to do. what should i do? and i am only 17 You need to find a doctor who will do an MRI on you. It will show if you have a bulging disk or some other problem. A vertabrae can put pressure on the disc and make it bulge, putting pressure on the spinal column.(Imagine one of those circular, gel-filled teething rings). Some people refer to this (improperly) as a slipped disc. A good doctor can fix it. Well if its off and on like that, theres definitely neurological involvement in the area of your vertebrae. hello there! I have had back problems for years and decided to start doing Yoga! I used to go to the back doctor and he said i should get into yoga! It has really helped with the pain and it is good for you! You will want to start slow , it took me about a month to get used to the strange new muscles i found! I still have a ache in my back and have found yoga is a great temporary solution. It always come back though and have found a bath in Epsom salt eases the pain! Good Luck to you! The only way to know for sure is a myelogram. They inject dye into your spine and xray it. |
