Pain scale?

Would you agree with the following in intensity of pain ( 1 being the worst, most severe) ?

1) An abses toothache (not a general sensitivity to hot/cold type toothache, but the type where the root & nerve is severaly infected & your whole head is just pounding. All you can do is scream in agony & listen to your heartbeat in your head)

2) A dislocated kneecap from a sports injury

3) Childbirth

pain is in the eye of the patient.
you have childbirth as the "least" painful of the group. but a female is going to reply and state this is the most painful. with a sports player stating 2 is the most painful, and someone with poor dentition stating 1 is the most painful.

pain is whatever the patient says it is.

Yes I agree, but the worst is a platapus sting, it contains the cemeical that is pain.

childbirth should be #1 its pain you can never describe

the infected tooth one - misery. ive had it and had to get pethidine from the doctor - the worst ever!!!!!!!

I've had abscess on tooth & in my ear & yes very painful
never had the knee thing
but I was with a kid when she broke her arm ( when I was a kid ) & although she cried it was not blue murder
& I've had two kids & that was more painful than the tooth & ear
you see all the bones move & expand in the body & that is very very painful & if any man thinks not well he is not thinking right,
then the child is forced out of a very small area & that can cause stitches for some women
