The right side of my right foot hurts terribly when any pressure is on it. What is wrong with it? |
As of a few days ago, i noticed when I would start to put any pressure on the right side of my right foot (where the bone points out a little), there would be an excruciating pain. I haven't injured my foot, but I noticed a callus there somewhat thicker on that part of my left foot. Could it be my shoes? There is no noticeable bruise or any other indicator of what the injury is. It is definitely something to do with the bone edge in that part of my foot. Does anyone know what is wrong? Could be a stress fracture, could be your shoes. It could be a bone spur. Alot of times you can have an injury to your foot and not realize it. You probably strained or pulled a muscle, or even broke a bone. I would recommend going to a doctor for an x-ray as soon as you can. You could have a corn, that can be very painful. You may want to try buying a pack of the corn remover pads, which are medicated, and see if you notice a difference. The wrong shoes for your type of foot can also cause you pain, and really cause you long term problems if worn constantly. It has to do with the type of arch you have. Some Podiatrists will schedule your first appointment at no charge. It sounds like you may have a bone spur. A little extra bone growth that is "stabbing" your nerves when you apply pressure. |
