Help! Any charity hospital willing to take care of 8-month-old baby suffering WestSyndrome fr Vietnam? |
Dear all, my tutor's 8-month-old daughter is suffering West syndrome (i.e. infantile spasm) as well as elasted ventricle of the brain (i hope i use the right term). She can experience as many as 10 seizures a day. She has not been able to flip or to hold things like other babies. Her dad has taken her to the hospital for treatment. The doctors have advised him of bad news that he couldn't dare to think of for his own child. He is desperate for help to save his only child. They both live in developing country, Vietnam where medical technology and treatment are still limited. I have tried to contact the Hospital of Sickkids in Canada, hoping the hospital could lend a hand. Please let me know or help me (My # 416-854-5159) spread the words to any charity hospital that can help sponsor for the baby's treatment. The child could die if treatment isn't implemented immediately. Thanks an ocean for your help. You won't believe how wonderful your action will be in helping to save the child's Thanks E. F. I will aslo go to see the Doctors without Borders (thanks stephen for the link) tomorrow. They have an office close to my school here in toronto. You need to contact the media in the U.S., Canada, all western countires. They all have web sites: msnbc.com, fox news channel, do a search for U.S.TV news channels, for New York Times (NYT.com) and such.
