My baby is 13 months old, she has constipation with some bleeding. How can we take care of it?

You need to change her diet ASAP!!! Plus, you need to see her Dr as well. Babies should not have this problem, especially with bleeding. It could cause many problems in the future!!

see a doctor. immediately. my son never had constipation at that age and never bled when defecating.

Soak some raisins in water and then give the water. Let the raisins soak for some time. better call ur doctor

I recommend calling her Pediatrician immediately. You should always consult a physician when bleeding is present, even though in this case it's probably caused by the constipation. Your Pediatrician will recommend the best course of action regarding the care of the constipation.

go see a doctor

Put Karo syrup in her formula. My oldest daughter had problems with constipation and that worked wonders for us.

don't panic, sounds like intestinal problems which is not the end of the world, you should seek a doctor which will probably direct you to a gastro intestinal specialist

doctor.

better consult a doctor, go now. your problem can not be resolve in the dotcom thing

if it was me I would be headed to an emergency room now.... get with it...instead of posting on here!

my daughter had constipation at that age with bleeding and you should see the doctor as soon as posible.

baby should c a doctor but it could be that her poop is too hard and cuts her a little try giving her some prune juice that should make her poop softer and shell be able to poop better

Talk to your babies pediatrician. We had this problem with my now 3 year old daughter. After talking with the pediatrician, we increased her water intake and gave her P-fruit. (All fruits that start with the letter P will relive constipation i.e. -- peaches, plums, pears, etc.) Also, you might put some Dr. Smith's diaper salve on the baby's sore bottom!

why would you ask the question instead of talking to her pediatrician.you maybe giving her to much solid foods that are hard for her to digest.

See the doctor go to the ER right away. they might give supositories and recommened pedialyte.

Talk to your Ped but My son got on Myralax and it worked wonderfully - it is a perscription.

WHEN MY CHILDREN WERE CONSTIPATED I GAVE THEM SOME WATER WITH A LITTLE BIT OF KARO SYRUP, NOT THE DARK KIND BUT THE CLEAR WILL DO. IT WORKED WONDERS AND I AM NO DR. BUT IF IT IS A LOT OF BLOOD I WOULD CALL YOUR PEDIATRICIAN BUT IF ONLY A DROP OR SO I WOULD WAIT TIL THE CONSTIPATION CLEARS UP AND SEE IF IT IS STILL THERE IF IT IS THEN I WOULD DEFINITELY CALL YOUR DR. OR THERE ARE SOME SUPPOSITORIES THAT YOU CAN BUY OVER THE COUNTER. HOPE IT WORKS

my life story, my daughters 3 now. she had 2 fissures that caused bleeding at times. take her to the doc but definatley try the Light Karo syrup in some formula, like 1 tsp in 4oz form. its very sweet shell love it, and if you need to, give her infant liquid suppository, but definatley sched an appt w/ the doc because of the bleeding.
email me if you wish god bless.

My child had this problem. I first called the doctor. He said if it persisted for more than 2-3 days to bring the baby to see him. In the mean time "Light Karo Syrup" in the formula, just enough to cover the bottom of the bottle works wonders. You might also do the same with a bottle of water. It will work faster without the formula.

Why are you on here asking. Hun you need to get that baby to the emergancy room stat!.... You shouldn't be asking on the net.... wasting time... It might not be anything serious.. God forbid... But go to the ER to make sure and stop goofing around.
