Importance of the baby's 15 month old doctor checkup?

MY baby's gonna be 15 months december 12th. Last time We were at the cdoctor we were told that he will be getting shots. Just last week I got a letter in the mail saying he doesn't have insurance anymore with medicate I can't get ahold of them to ask why and if i can do someting about it but then my dad sais theres something that no children get free health insurance anymore. So me and the dad looked into what we can do about etting him to the docot this month and the way it looked is we wouldnt be able to get him insured till april with his insurance by then my baby's going to be 19 months! that's 4 whole months after the date he would be supposed to be going. My question here is, is it imortant to get the shots right on time or would it be okay to get them 4 months later? we cant get him on his insurance right now because we still have some legal stuff to take care of to actually get his name on the birth certificate.

It is perfectly okay to wait to vaccinate him.

Vaccines have been linked to autism and other developmental disabilities. Babies don't have a blood brain barrier. It develops later on. Waiting might save your son from a lifetime of problems.

Also if he needs boosters check his titers, he might already be immune.

I would suggest that you go to what Jenny MacCarthy calls the University of google and research this.

Medicaid rules are different in every state, as is the availability of alternatives (like getting it done free or at reduced cost at a health department, for instance), so it's impossible to give you a great answer without knowing where you are. Your local Medicaid office may be able to give you a better guide.
