Birth mark?

my baby is five months old when he was 2monts my mother saw that he had a birth mark on his check it was small barly seen but as he grows it grows i woldnt care if it was on other part of his body what can i do i dont want it effect n him when he gets older p.s its not that big just small heart shap not very big. dose it go without lazer

I was born with a port wine birthmark in my face in two spots about the size of a quarter and a half dollar. The doctor kept telling my mom it would go away as I got older, but it never did. By the time I got to college I decided I wanted to get rid of it. Went to a plastic surgeon and had laser surgery done on it... twice. Now it's barely noticeable. I could have had it lasered once more, but I was satisfied with how it came out. It was considered a birth defect and the insurance paid for it. This was... uh... about 20 years ago so I'm sure technology has changed.

It didn't bother me that much growing up unless someone made a comment about it. As I got into high school it bothered me more since at that age we really start to care about our looks. If it's not that big to begin with, just wait and see if it goes away on it's own. Let him decide later in life if he wants it taken off if it's still there.

Take your baby to a dermatologist and tell him/her that this mark is growing. I have seen TV programs about these. It's not exactly a birthmark. There are different types of problems it could be, but if it's growing, it has to be surgically removed.

baseeeta that is cute actually trust me when he grows they will sta callin him names i mean cute names cos of that actually i have 1 that looks like a flower pot with a flower comin out of it heheheheehe but noww i love it coz ive heard a lot of compliments and i feel now that it distinguishes me fro other ppl w allah ykhaleelik yeh
