What do these sympoms sound like? |
fast mood swings, very anger when they do swing. saying things she doesn't mean, threatning to kill people, saying she doesn't care about our child when she does ( only happens when it swings) hates herself. lots of hyperness. paxil helps but doesn't fix. but when she is not on the negative side she is very energetic happy excited. also i know she has a learning disability and 19 yrs old. im the first one she had a baby with and the first person she lived with other hten parents. thought of bi polar but not sure help!!! dr's can't seem to tell me what it is other then depression i htink it's more. I believe it is bordering on Bipolar disorder, but there is help and medications for this kind of behavior. Check to see if it runs in the family, this is hereditary. It sounds like bipolar disorder, or some sort of behavioural disorder. multiple personality disorder, or severe borderline personality disorder.... Sounds bipolar.Have her smoke some kill.I wouldn't take those threats lightly. It's going to be hard for you since you have a baby together otherwise I would say run as fast as you can in the other direction.Did she show these signs before she had the baby?If not it could be post par tum depression,I wouldn't leave her alone with the baby. Could be either bipolar or borderline personality disorder. I would lean toward bipolar however. She needs to be under the care of a good psychiatrist. If it is bipolar being on paxil could be making the problem worse rather than better. Bipolar patients often have adversere reactions to antidepressants alone. A psychiatrist is the best physician to help diagnose and get her on the best medicine for her. GP's just don't have enough expertise in this area. Good luck, She needs to get her thyrod checked she could have thyrod problems. it is a bipolar disorder....mood swings are common in bipolar disorder.if there was a depression episode somewhere in the past, then am very sure it is a bipolar disorder. just get her see a psychiatrist as soon as possible because it is treatable. It could be a variety of things. A good starting place is to check her family history to see if anyone suffered from any form of mental illness. |
