9 weeks prego...?

I have an appointment in another month for my first exam... I'm not willing to wait and I'm really anxious. I've been going through alot of stress lately and ive been worried about mine and the babies health. Also I have a bad back and from coming home and taking care of my son and the house i get paralyzed kind of from the waist down if i lay on my back. i cant get up on my own and have to have something to pull on to get up. Should i go to the hospital? Even the local clinic has about a month wait time...

well when i had my first baby i had a epidural and it messed my back up ever since then Ive always had problems with my back! when my daughter was just 3 months old i went to the er and they told me that i was having musle spams which can also be brought on by stress! well later on when my daughter was 1 i went to a chiropractor and he told me i had a slipped disk and along with that was muscle spasms and the pain was really bad i still have it to this day but once in awhile ill get it but the paralyzed in your leg could may be cause by your disc rubbing on your nerve you really need to go to the hospital and get it checked so they can give you some medication before it gets to bad it usel to hurt to even stand! when my back use to hurt i use to have to have to roll out of bed cause id have to find certain ways to get up because it would sent a sharp pain and would hurt like crazy if i tried to sit strait up it go so bad i would be hunched over because i couldn't straiten my back out people use to make fun of me . hehe well the best thing to do is put a ice pack on it and make that appointment hope you feel better and since you are prego not sure what medication the doc will give you ! if you have some icy hot that may help also! congrats on the new baby!

Your bad back will most probably just be because you are not used to having the extra weight on you stomach. But you may still want to get it checked out just in case but I'm sure it is nothing to worry about!

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I totally understand your fears b/c i went thru a lot with my son during the whole pregnancy (lower back pains & 3rd trimester probs). Your concerns are totally valid. Is it possible to see another OB/GYN or to tell the doctor your supposed to see that it is an emergency? If not ,and your back is in such bad shape that you can't move much, then yes, it is okay to go the hospital to get that checked on. Better to have that peace of mind. Good Luck!
