Why are Men so Cranky When they Are Sick?

My boyfriend was sick (flu like) at the end of the last week and over the weekend. He drove me nuts! I swear. When I am sick (regardless of how sick), I keep to myself, hardly complain, maybe speak a few moans here and there, but him, geez, he was whining about everything, complaining every chance he got - I couldn't win! What is up with that? Why are men such babies when it comes to being sick? I felt like I was taking care of a sick 4 year old child. Now, I know not all men are like that, but from this experience and past experiences it seems to be the case. Any thoughts?

No, I think they're all like that. They revert back to childhood where their moms comforted them and did everything for them when they felt sick. I think they believe when they're sick something terrible is happening in the universe! Can you imagine if they had to go through what we women do? They couldn't handle it.

On the other hand.......I think it can be extremely cute the way they act like babies and appreciate all our little nurturing things we do for them.

becasue were men i think we were born to be craky

Men are really big babies.

i think it must be in their dna. they can lift heavier objects, fix things, etc. but a little cold turns them into babies. boy i would hate for them to be responsible for child birth. the human race would die out.

I'll have to turn in my man card but...
...we really are big babies.

We are no more cranky than girls are but it just seems like we are more cranky when your feeling good and we're not. Trust me girls can be just as cranky when they're sick.

He was like that because you gave him everything he wanted. It is called being spoiled.

Give him the minimum amount of attention and give him only what he needs to be healthy. His whining attitude will quickly be replaced.
