Where can I find instructions to remove my own tumor?

I have a small growth on my left index finger - a bump about .8 cm in diameter that my OB said is probably a blood vessel tumor. because of the way is sits on my finger and the way the skin pulls away from it around the edges, it looks like I could just pop it out or cut it off myself. I'd like to do it as safely as possible, though, so are there instructions online somewhere for this sort of thing?

P.S. - I know it would be better to have a doctor take care of it, but I can't afford to see one. Blew all the money on rent and not having babies.

Even though it may look easily excisable...I wouldn't, especially if it's potentially attached to a blood vessel. It may look ok at the surface but you have no idea how deep the tumor goes (think roots of a tree). You risk breaking open the tumor and speading potentially cancerous cells as well as having an uncontrollable bleed by rupturing your blood vessel not to mention the risk of infection. Don't do it!

No way! Do NOT attempt to remove this thing yourself!

As your Dr has pointed out, it is probably a tumour with a good blood supply...most tumours tend to have a good blood supply and as such should not be messed with. Good blood supply = excessive bleeding if messed with.

Also tumours need to removed with several mm's of healthy flesh also, to ensure all has been removed and it will not simply return. Only a trained person should do this.

Lastly, you are going to be in pain and the risk of infection, due to the fact that you are untrained and will be going deep to remove it AND will probably need a stitch afterwards spells a final NO.

In short, either save up to have it removed, put up with it (if your Dr has said it is harmless) or leave well alone.

DON'T DO IT! FIND money to go to a doc, because this could be very dangerous. did you think of how CLEAN a doctors office is? their tools? you would have a serious risk of infection, which is VERY painful. I would straighten out your priorities and get that taken care of, before it gets bigger, and more painful. whatever you do, don't do it yourself. (you would have to pay for a dr. visit anyway to take care of the infections)

I would get really wasted and have you boyfriend sterilize a knife and just cut the thing out. You should probably be wasted for like a month or get some pain meds from a dealer and be on those for a month. Make sure you boyfriend applies pressure to the wound always and bandage it up good. Soon you will be good to go.
