How do I get rid of the winter blues when I'm stuck inside with a sick baby? |
How do I get rid of the winter blues when I'm stuck inside with a sick baby? If there's someone who can stay with the baby sometimes for you, take a walk outdoors, even if it's cold. It will really help, I know from experience. When the baby is asleep, remember to take care of yourself first. Rather than trying to get caught up with all the laundry and housework, try to do something good for yourself - take a nap, have a hot shower or bath, read a good book, make yourself something good to eat. I know how hard all of this is, I have been stuck inside with a baby for days at a time in the winter too. But you have to look after yourself so that you have the physical, emotional and mental energy it takes to look after the baby. Take care of yourself and best wishes! Get a bright light, one that has full spectrum light. They are sold in alternative medicine stores. Start reading your bible. The bible is the inspired word of God. The creator of heaven and earth and he made you, loves you , and he has much to tell you through his word. His word bring life and helps you with any situation in life. That is why he gave it us through his Son Jesus Christ. Truly God is real and truly He has sent His Son. As you begin to seek God you will find him waiting to embrace you with His arms open wide, through the blood of Jesus can man again have relationship with the almighty God. He loves you so very much. I found him and I have been so blessed in so many ways since. God loves you! |
