Do i have post partum depression?

i had my baby 8 days ago and i am back to my old self again, but i am feeling like everyone else loves my baby more than i do. i think its just baby blues but i feel like i don't love him as much as i should. i still worry and take great care of him but i don't feel that "special bond" that everyone talks about. is this normal?

Ya Ya..its normal. Everyone loves babies. Enjoy the time people are spending with them because when it comes time for you and him...your gonna wish someone was there to take him off of your hands for five minutes!! PPD doesn't start until a couple of months after birth..Plus you don't have any of the other symptoms like
Dysphoric mood

Loss of interest in usually pleasurable activities

Difficulty concentrating or making decisions

Psychomotor agitation or retardation

Fatigue

Changes in appetite or sleep

Recurrent thoughts of death/suicide

Feelings of worthlessness or guilt, especially failure at motherhood

Excessive anxiety over child's health
