Baby eye colors?? |
my dad told me that when i was born i had blue eyes but then not too soon after i was born my eyes had turned brown....does this happen to all babys?? and how does it happen?? Brown is a dominant color so if one parent has brown eyes the baby 9 out of 10 times will have brown eyes also. My ex has blue and I have brown, my son had like a light blue and within a week they changed to brown like mine. all babies are born with blue eyes until the pigment comes in what they are going to be about two to three months or longer The pigment isn't always all there yet when the baby is born and it's still filling in. Usually you'll notice it when the baby is born with bluish eyes then they get brown. majority of people have brown / hazel eyes!my wife and I had are son and we both have brown eyes and his stayed blue! Most all babies are born with blue-grey eyes. They change shortly after birth (weeks to months) I have no idea how though. Not all babies, but to some. It's completely natural to have been born with blue eyes that turn brown. When a baby is born, the melanin pigment has developed in their eyes yet. If there's a lot of melanin in you, then your eyes will turn brown in about 6 - 8 months. Or, in my case, I have ver little melanin so my eyes stayed blue. Yes, it's very common. Almost all babies are born with blue eyes, which may later change to whatever colour they will permanently remain. The eyes change in just a few weeks or months. my son had one blue eye and one brown eye - very strong colors, too! the doc said it would change in 2 weeks - it took 14 years before they changed! haha |
