What do you think baby's hair color will be?

I'm a blond with blue eyes and my husband is a red head with blue eyes, my parents both have blue eyes, my mom has blond hair (very European roots) and my dad has brown hair with dark under tones *no red tones*. My husbands parents, his father has red hair with blue eyes ( again very European roots), his mother has brown eyes and brown hair. I know red is dominant as is dark but I wonder what colour hair our child will have I know he will likely have blue eyes! And more then likely have redish blond hair or some kind! But what do you think he will have???

No matter what your hair is it would be, cause red is the dominate gene. BUT now that I know your hair is BLONDE- I know FOR SURE it will. It might be strawberrry blonde so its not that orangy red colour. I would say a nice pretty light red.

Sounds a lot like my family. My brother had 4 kids, three blondes and a red head.
My mom has blond hair, dad had brown hair, gramma on Mom's side had reddish blonde hair, grampa on mom's side not sure---gramma and grampa on dads side both light brown.
The good thing is that the kid will probably have pretty blue eyes--that is always a plus.

well both my parents have DARK DARK brown hair, and my sister has red hair and i have blonde. genes shmenes arent always 100%. could go either way.

Just my guess - red hair and brown eyes, if a girl - brown hair and brown eyes, if a boy.

Both of my parents have brown eyes/hair and my maternal grandmother was German (brown/blue), mat. grandfather German also (blonde/brown)

Brown hair and eyes - although you and your husband both have blue eyes, there is the dominant brown on both sides, which he will most likely inherit. You have the red hair on only one side, and although it's possible that he will have red hair (with 1 dominant allele), it is more probable that he will have light brown to brown hair, since you have the minor dominant brown on BOTH sides, and it hasn't manifested itself.
