I had a lasik surgery last month. Now I want to wear colored contacts. I wanted to order online but every site is asking for my doctor's name and phone number. Does every site asks for doctors information even its plano contacts? also has anyone tried natural touch baby blue contacts? is it good? that color is a wash out Everyone will ask, and they will need a prescription, too. Contacts, even ones that are for color only, are medical devices and is illegal to sell them without a prescription. Just ask you eye doctor for a prescription - you'll probably have to go in for a fitting, but there's no way around it if you want contacts. Agree with the 1st person but have a question...Why are you puting contacts on your eyes if you just had LASIK???!!!??? Does your surgeon know that you want to wear them so soon? You need time for the flaps to heal. I would wait at least 1 year before putting contacts in my eyes after LASIK. I may be a little conservative, but why risk wrecking your eyes so soon after getting great vision??? You should speak to your doctor before trying to wear contacts after LASIK. Due to the change in corneal curves, it may be difficult to find a contact that fits properly. Inserting and removing a lens may disturb the flap this soon after surgery. LASIK reduces tear production for 3 -6 months after surgery so contacts are not a good idea in that time. |
