What does ssi want to hear when determining approval of benifets? |
i.e. ,bi-polar,partially deaf,born a blue baby... It's not so much what your specific illness is that determines whether they will give it to you or not, instead they tend to look at your level of functioning. For the most part if you are able (or tell /show them that you are able) to do most every day activities like cleaning the house, getting out the bed, speaking clearly and concisely about your illness itself, they may label you too "high functioning" to be considered for benefits. My friend's mother's motto for SSI interviews has always been "Drool on the paperwork". :P they are going to want lots of medical records They absolutly want medical evidence of your illness. Any medical records from your dr should do the trick. anything that says u are unable to work,A long list of mental issues is helpful,arthritis in a weight bearing joint like spine or knees,and you will most likely have to appeal it with a lawyer,which is sometime the best way to go the government is very stingy, |
