My Godson 2yrs was givin two months to live due to illness, looking for poetry on deaths of children! pls help

My heart goes out to you and the family. May God touch him I have 3 kids of my own 7,3 and 1 and they are so precious to me I can only imagine your pain. I love to write poetry I actually personalize poetry for a hobby my big brother was tragically killed almost 4 years ago and I write on his birthday and death anniversary every year. He is my inspiration so what I would like to do is tonite I will write something for you and you can place your godson's name where needed if there is anyway to email you or vice versa. I have just discovered this site and you really stood out and I want to do this for him, but tomorrow I will get back on this question and send him a poem..Again my heart and prayers to you and your family ..God bless you...

Accidents happen, that's what they all say.
That's why you are gone, oh so far away.
A young life lost, to great heaven above.
Flying away like a beautiful dove.

A handsome guy, with a thousand great friends,
None of whose hearts will ever mend.
A bright young kid, always wearing a smile;
Always willing to sacrifice and go the extra mile.

Some people talk, and yea they will chatter.
But we keep your family and friends strong, that's the real matter.

First, stop looking for poems on the death of children, instead look for those on life, and the Love children bring. Think of living and fill his day with Love and happiness. Don't spend the time he has left grieving over what may happen, spend it smiling and saying how lucky you are to have a chance to have ever had him. Tell him every chance you get that you Love him and be extra generous on the hugs. How you say can I sit here and tell you these things, my daughter has 2 sons that she gave up to us, one grandson is 2 and mildly autistic, his older brother is 3 and dying from congestive heart failure, in his short life he has undergone 3 open heart surgeries, 1 at 36 hours old, 1 at 6 months and 1 at 2 years old, he was also born aspleenic, so he has no immune system and could never survive a heart transplant, a simple cold turns to a week or two's stay in the hospital. We were given no time on when he may die, it could be any day, any minute, after all he has already died 4 times and Doc has brought him back. I quit grieving and began Thanking God for the time we have now. Look instead as I said for poems of Happiness, look at that child as your teacher, when you are at your very worst look at him and think, "I got it Good", Love him for all it's worth. Never ever give up "Hope and Faith".........
