11 month old baby near drowning, underwater for 8-10 min?

My daughters little brother was in the care of his mother and was found floating in the bathtub blue and not breathing. He is currently on life support. He is unresponsive and on ice due to his brain starting to swell. They ave him blood last nite to reoxegenate his blood. What are the odds he will make it? What will most likley happen?

The best answers you're going to get are from his doctors. They're the only ones who can see brain function and heart patterns, test results, etc.

Only God knows what is going to happen. I have seen these things go both ways. Prayer and support is all you can offer right now. We will be praying also, for the child and for the family.

OMG! That poor baby! Where was the mom!!! I'm so sorry for the baby.. I really hope he makes it!! Poor poor thing!! I will be thinking of him & also his sister

It does not sound like the child is going to make it. I'm very sorry that is my answer, children should never be left alone that young. not even for a moment.
although there has been recovers from such incidents these are rare and considered miracles.

Very sorry to hear. I'll keep him in my prayers. All you can do is hope for the best. It's in God's hands right now. The bad thing is that not having Oxygen going to his brain for that amount of time he could suffer Brain Damage. But only time is going to tell. The good thing is that children bounce back pretty quick. Remember we are all human and it was an Accident. Good Luck.
