Acne - The Last Resort?

Ive had acne ever since i hit puberty and at the age of 18 it still doesnt display any signs of disappearing. Ive done the medicated creams (benzymycin), antibiotics (tetracycline), nearly every cream my pharmacy sells, Proactiv (which i became immune to), blue light radiation (Tanda), a liver cleanse and am currently on my second candida cleanse (and yes i DO eat healthy otherwise - organic, etc. drink 1L of water a day and take vitamins!) Other than ANOTHER cream, Accutane (no thanks! women have to go on the pill even if they arent whoring around bc if they are raped and impregnated the baby will be terribly deformed. now imagine what thats doing to one's organs and immune system!), or the pill, any advice?

I lost my f acne at 17 after 3 years. For the first years I wahed my faced, got millions of creams until I finally said Fcuk it!

After a month of not doing anything it went away.

I use Dermalogica's special clearing booster. I kind of pricey but it works for me. I use it after washing my face with one of their cleansers and after applying toner.

What the skin needs is a product that clears pores and kills bacteria, thus preventing hair follicles from clogging and turning into acne. This is what you should be looking for if you want to get rid of those ugly acne.

Before trying any treatment, I suggest you read this informational source that listed the most effective acne treatments available:

P.S. I also know someone who used to suffer from severe acne for 14 YEARS and finally got rid of it completely. She's sharing her story at her site:

Maybe you could learn from her inspirational story
.

since you are listing all these things , you may have over done it with cleansers and pills. I do think that detox is important.. maybe you arent doing the detox for the full ammount of time .. so maybe thats why u are not seeing results. Sometimes.... there is nothing u can do, stressing about acne... makes it worse. If it is gonna be there.. then its gonna be...

First of all, no one has flawless skin. Some people have it better than others, but thats just genes and stuff. Go to www.freewebs .com/reelbeauty11 for skin and beauty tips. I know its for young girls, but it works for anyone!

I know some people who have tried ProActive and it worked, but I also know some others who have tried it and it made it worse :( I know some who have put rubbing alchol on their skin or peroxcide to dry up the pimples. It also kills bacteria :) . Also, try going to a dermotoligist, or ask your regular doctor. Often times the regular doctor, who knows more about your med. history and whatnot can help you more than a dermatologist.

are you a vegetarian? That might have something to do with it. Its worth checking into.

Try dabbing toothpaste or honey on your zits before you go to bed - works wonders.

Overall, remember that beauty counts more on the inside than on the outside, and your true friends will love you for you, and not your skin.

Oh, and try a different kind of foundation, if you wear it. Try to use a kind with lots of water in it. It looks great and doesn't clog pores half as bad. And check your habits - do you prop your chin up a lot with your hands? That might cause the acne as well. Look for the cause, as well as the cure.

There are many different types of acne treatment that people can use. Just about everyone you know has some kind of magical remedy. Log on to http://tipsfromruby-acne.blogspot.com/ for a few home made tips to heal acne .
