I have a 6 year old son who has turned gray and blue no answers as to why can you help? |
My son has turned color's his body temp seems to drop to. his blood sugar was normal and they want to test him for seizures. it was in school so i know he was warm enough. thank you everyone for your answers so far. Well,I'm not a dr. or anything, but it seems like he isnt getting enough oxygen through his body. If they didn't send you home with a portable heart monitor, I'd be very concerned and keep a very close eye on him, especially at night. Well, I am not a doctor but I would say this is a circulation issue. Nonetheless, I want to wish you and your son the best. My son used to turn blue whenever he was extremely cold; usually after swimming. But, once he warmed up his skin color returned to normal. Cyanosis is a bluish discoloration of the skin or mucous membranes caused by lack of oxygen in the blood. I understand the anxiety you must feel waiting for the test results. You may wish to reference the website below in the meantime. Have you checked his blood sugar to see if maybe it's low? My first thought would be a blood O2 level or a circulation problem. Good luck. |
