BSE and Creutzfeldt-Jakob.. How are they related?

BSE is Bovine Spongiform Encepholophathy it and CJD are caused by prions which cause the proteins in the brain to reform into useless mass. In cows it is BSE in sheep it is called Scarpies and in people it is CJD.
