How many people died and suffered because of avian influenza, in other words, bird flu? |
research on bird flu, undefined no of casualties..sho please help me/ 157 deaths and 263 cases of Avian Influenza H5N1 in humans. According to the WHO the total number of deaths from the H5N1 bird flu virus stands at 91 since it re-emerged in late 2003. Or, put another way, there is a 0.0000015 chance of contracting this disease. In short, the reaction to its perceived effects have been nothing more than hysterical. |
