Does anyone know the best type of pain killer for avascular necrosis of the hip bones.? |
i am seeking pain killing advice for avascular necrosis of the hip pre operation. Bone pain is perhaps the worst pain. Usually a narcotic analgesic like percocet but watch not to exceede 4000mg of the acetominophin mixed in with the oxycodone. Prescription only please. Your doctor would best advise you :) percocet don't take any m8, i don't and I'm awaiting surgery. by the sound of that condition, i would guess strong pain killers would you be confident taking a drug that someone you don't know anything about suggest? See your GP Anti-inflammatories for bone pain, such as 800mg. Ibuprofen every 4 hours, and Neurontin (RX) for nerve pain, in increasing doses. Not all Doctors have a clue that different types of pain respond to different meds. If there are different sources of pain, it may require that they be treated differently, with multiple types of pain killers. I would contact a pain clinic, not just any Doctor. |
