I have avascular necrosis and need replacement joints because I took Prednisone. Anyone else had this prob? |
I only took prednisone for one month (a high dose though) because of asthma and now my hip and knee both need replacing due to bone death in my joints.(I already had the hip done). I'm in a lot of pain and narcs don't work. Any suggestions for the pain before and after (especially) surgery in August? Any info would help a lot. Thanks for listening. I also have HepC and am bipolar. What a life huh? That's all for now. Thanks again. :-) I have AVN too. But I am not at the point of joint replacement yet. I don't know what it is like to have joint replacement but I can tell that you are a strong person. Good luck!! geez no.. but I hope you get something. Did you get a morphine patch? I heard they work very well when nothing else does. pain management doctor and clinic they will get all of your meds together and control your pain. if the pain is that bad you may need methadone |
