Hip replacement surgery NY?

my dad has Avascular necrosis and needs to get a hip replacement and i was wondering how much do you think its gonna cost or if anyone knows b/c he was hurt at work but works comp wont pay so his regular insurance might cover it.. and he needs to be alsleep during the surgery and i live in NY if that makes any difference so if someone can please help me that be great and i would appreciate it very much.

thank you

The total expenses related to a hip replacement can be anywhere from $25k and up. A lot depends on where you are having the surgery. Mine cost around $25k in a small midwestern city so I figure that this is the lower range and most other places will be much higher.
It's good that he has insurance.
For what it's worth, I am very pleased with my hip replacements and have regained mobility and have no pain. I can walk miles, use no cane, need to pain meds, have no limp and have gotten my life back. Good luck to your dad.

The price of hip replacement surgery is very low in India as compared to USA, UK and Canada. My cousin also got her hip replacement surgery in India through the Fly2india4health Consultants .She is more than very happy with the results. She is totally pain free now. She just paid 25% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this Fly2india4health Consultants.

Fly2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines. I have read a lot of their patient stories also. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as all joint surgery is not covered by insurance in USA or by NHS in the UK. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that your surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
