Autoimmune diseases are caused by the body attacking or rejected it's own tissue, so anything that will lower your immune response will help, but this will also set you up to get infections and viruses easily...Your doctor can help you decide whether it's worth it...As far as alopecia...have you seen a dermatologist? They would be the ones who can help...My mother had steroid injections in the scalp by this little machine, (minimal discomfort), and using Rogaine. She had really good success, but it takes a while, and she had to get the injections once a month for six months.....Hope this helps you...

Most if not all autoimmune disease do not have a cure. The best you can do is treat the symptoms. The body attacks itself, and to stop it from doing so you have to kill it. That's why there are very few if any cures for autoimmune diseases out there.

I believe healthly diet and good mental condition are the primary keys for recovering from the autoimmune diseases
