How is AIDS different from autoimmune diseases? how are they alike?

one is called AIDS and the other is called autoimmune there alike cause they both have I's and u left this question wide open

AIDS deals with defieciency (not enough), where the autoimmune diseases deal with defects (not normal).

AIDS is caused by a virus which destroys cells which direct an attack on that very same virus. An autoimmune disease is when the immune system goes awry attacking the body.
